ALERT: Scammers are using Maggie Beer’s name to con Australians into buying weight loss gummies

Unfortunately, internet scammers are using Maggie Beer’s name and likeness to trick Australians into buying ineffective and potentially dangerous weight loss gummies. The fraudsters are claiming that Maggie is a product ambassador for the gummies and that she has used them herself to lose weight. Sometimes, the scam ads claim that the gummies are keto (a low-carbohydrate, fat-rich diet) or contain CBD (a compound found in cannabis).

We would like to make it clear that Maggie herself and the Maggie Beer Products team are not affiliated with the scammers and their gummies in any way, nor do we endorse them. We’ve observed that the gummies are being marketed with product names like:

Maggie Beer CBD gummies
Maggie Beer keto gummies
Maggie Beer weight loss gummies
Keto gummies Maggie Beer
People’s keto gummies
OEM keto gummies Maggie Beer

We do not offer gummies, including keto gummies and CBD gummies.

If you see ads for the gummies online, we urge you not to purchase them, give the scammers personal or payment information, or click on any links associated with the gummies. Unfortunately, these scammers are looking to swindle you. The gummies themselves may also be hazardous when consumed.

If you have purchased the gummies, we advise you not to take them and to report the scammers to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or Scamwatch.
